• Girven Road Medical Centre is located in Mount Maunganui at the beach end of Girven Road, on the corner of Girven Road and Paterson Street. We have two entrances, one at 83 Girven Road (for emergency staff) and one around the corner on Paterson Street, which is the main entrance for patients.  We have ample parking and our practice is wheelchair friendly.   Please click on Contact Us to view a map and route planner.

    Dr Graeme Tingey is a Specialist General Practitioner and is joint owner of Girven Road Medical Centre with Theresa. Graeme is an Honorary Senior Lecturer, Auckland School of Medicine, Auckland University.

    Practice Manager

    Theresa is a Registered Nurse (NZRN), manages the Girven Road Medical Centre and jointly owns the centre with Graeme. Theresa is very busy managing centre activities and is also on the board of a local charitable organisation.

  • Gina Wright-Barry GP, MBChB

    Gina Wright-Barry is one of our General Practitioners and welcomes new patients.  Gina holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree.

  • Susan Jenkins GP, MBChB, DO Medicine and Surgery

    Susan joined our practice in March 2016 and is welcoming new patients. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Dundee in Scotland and has lived in Tauranga since early 2013. 

  • Bushra Wahid MBBS Pakistan (English System)

    Dr Bushra Wahid joined the Girven Road Medical Centre Team on 14 December 2017.  She has lived and worked in Tauranga since 2013 and, along with English, speaks Punjabi, Urdu and Pashto.  

  • Practice Nurses
